Dining and Restaurants

The apartments are self-catering and fully equipped, so you can practice your culinary skills during your stay. And you certainly don’t have to worry about anyone sticking their nose in your pot. In case you don’t feel like cooking, or you run out of supplies, you can head to the surrounding area – we have several restaurants and shops here.

Breakfast from our self-service bar

Don’t feel like going to the store first thing in the morning, or did you just underestimate your supplies? Help yourself at our self-service bar. Thanks to the combination of ingredients, you can put together three breakfast menus, each for CZK 60.

As always, we strive to use only the best ingredients from local suppliers:

  • Homemade eggs from local hens.
  • Jam from blueberries from the Krkonoše Mountains, which is full of natural flavors.
  • Honey from a local beekeeper, which adds a pleasant sweetness to the breakfast.

Shops and Delivery Services

For convenient shopping delivered right to your apartment door, you can use Rohlík.

To replenish small supplies, there is Obchůdek U Školy (Little Shop by the School), which is located approximately 550 meters from the apartment. It is open in season from Monday to Saturday 9:00–17:00 and on Sunday 9:00–12:00.

For larger supplies, however, you will have to go to Jilemnice or Vrchlabí, or shop on your way to us.

Other Dining Options

The mountains are beautiful, but man does not live by views alone. In the kitchens of our apartments, you can
cook whatever you want. However, one doesn’t always feel like cooking after a day spent on the slopes or on
a hike in the mountains. For these cases, we have a few tips for you to help you stave off hunger,
and still have some fun.

We can also recommend several restaurants in the area:

Restaurants in Vítkovice and the surrounding area

  • Hospoda U Telců is the closest pub to our apartment building. You can easily walk there. However, it is more of a place for gourmets, but they cook well there.
  • At Chata Tereza you can expect luxurious food, but you need to call in advance and reserve a place. They are only open during the season.
  • Mini Café 3 is a small café in an apartment building, the owner is a chef and his wife works in the 7 štítů café in Vrchlabí. They will prepare excellent coffee for you, and you can get there with a pleasant walk through Vítkovice or on the way from Aldrov.
  • Penzion Rezek and hotel Rezek are two restaurants opposite each other. You can find them at the starting point to Dvoračky. You can get there by car from the apartments in 5 minutes.
  • Aroma Aldrov is a beautiful and very pleasant place with excellent food. However, it is necessary to make a reservation well in advance.
  • Chata Mísečky is located 10 minutes by car from the apartments. You can stop there after skiing in Mísečky. They cook good Czech cuisine and are open 365 days a year.
  • Jilemnická bouda offers a large capacity, so it is also suitable for larger groups.
